What's happening

Eighty-five existing weekly Ballarat trains have already been extended to and from Wendouree Station - resulting in more station staff, extended ticket office hours and greater flexibility for the people of Wendouree, Lake Gardens, Alfredton and surrounds.

Project description

The Victorian Government will add 68 services a week to and from Wendouree.

This will mean Wendouree Station will have 141 services each week.

Currently 39 trains a week to Melbourne stop at Wendouree while 34 trains travelling from Melbourne stop at Wendouree railway station each week.

Project benefits

Residents of Wendouree and nearby suburbs will have more flexibity to travel when it suits them.
