Regional railway station works

Regional railway stations will be upgraded to improve access to rail services and connectivity with bus and coach services.

Upgrades will occur at locations including Marshall, South Geelong, and Bairnsdale followed by Clarkefield and Riddells Creek.

Works will deliver upgraded car parks, new taxi zones, improved signage and lighting, CCTV, toilets, passenger facilities and disabled access.

 New station at Grovedale

A new V/Line railway station is to be located on the Geelong line. This will provide for easy access from the Surf Coast Highway, Torquay and Geelong's fast-expanding southern suburbs including Armstrong Creek.

You can provide feedback about the Grovedale Station Project by completing an online enquiry form.

 Talbot railway station

The Victorian Government will reopen Talbot railway station to V/Line trains in 2013. This will improve access to trains and punctuality on the Ballarat and Maryborough lines. Media release: Coalition Government delivers on commitment to return trains to Talbot.
